People rang in the 2011 New Year in style over at Veritas Vineyard and Winery. The annual Masked Ball kicked off on New Year’s Eve at 7PM with people dancing into the wee morning hours of January 1st! The night started with wine and hors d’oeuvers followed by a five-course winemaker’s dinner in Saddleback Hall. Dancing took place until midnight, when the masks came off and the champagne flowed! Breakfast followed at 12:30 a.m.

Sparkling wine flowed freely at the Masked Ball at Veritas New Years eve.

Veritas Vineyard & Winery’s start to the 2009 Starry Nights was a bit of a soggy one for the first part of the evening, but folks took it in stride and took it inside until the showers passed. After roughly 30 minutes the rains ended leaving a wonderful evening of wine and music by King Cadillac.

Huge thunderstorms moved out of the Afton area around dark, just in time for the music to kick off at this year's Starry Nights.
