It’s become an annual tradition. Wintergreen Performing Arts held its Blue Ridge Christmas – The Virginia Consort with Judith Gary, Music Director and Timothy McCallister, Accompanist, this past Sunday afternoon at The Rockfish Presbyterian Church just north of Nellysford on Route 151.

The consort begins with singers in the loft of the church out of view, then slowly entering the sanctuary.

The balcony seats in addition to the lower sanctuary were totally filled with a sold out crowd.

Wintergreen Performing Arts, Inc. is a non-profit organization that produces a high-quality summer music festival featuring symphonic and chamber concerts, as well as other performing arts programs throughout the year.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without beautiful music. This past Sunday people were treated to some of the best as Wintergreen Performing Arts held their Blue Ridge Christmas : A Virginia Consort. The performance was held at Rockfish Presbyterian Church just north of Nellysford, Virginia.

The Consort began with the singing of Christmas carols that grew louder and louder. The singers started out of view in the upper balcony and eventually walked into the main sanctuary.

Sunday’s performance was conducted by Judith Gary. The Accompanist was Alica Layman.
