The Piney River Moose Lodge, located off Rt 778 in Piney River, is sponsoring a Bluegrass Festival from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Bands include Hard Drivin’ Grass, In the Tradition, Deer Creek Boys and Little Mountain Boys. Food and drinks will be available. Bring your lawn chair. The 2nd Annual Bluegrass Jamboree to benefit the NCHS Marching Govs Band trip to Florida will be held the last day of this month beginning at 3 PM lasting until whenever! This is just one of several events that have been held during the past several months to help raise money for their trip to Florida later this year. This year’s line up has some of the best in the bluegrass entertainment world!

-James River Cut Ups
-Deer Creek Boys

And there’s so much more!

NCL in the printed edition, incorrectly listed the date and phone number in the calendar section, so be sure everyone knows it’s January 31st 2009 at 3 PM, in the Nelson County High School Auditorium.
