The Piney River Moose Lodge, located off Rt 778 in Piney River, is sponsoring a Bluegrass Festival from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Bands include Hard Drivin’ Grass, In the Tradition, Deer Creek Boys and Little Mountain Boys. Food and drinks will be available. Bring your lawn chair. Bluegrass Jamboree To Benefit Nelson County High Band Boosters On January 31st 2009 : Click image above for larger view.

The 2nd Annual Bluegrass Jamboree to benefit the NCHS Marching Govs Band trip to Florida will be held the last day of this month beginning at 3 PM lasting until whenever! This is just one of several events that have been held during the past several months to help raise money for their trip to Florida later this year. This year’s line up has some of the best in the bluegrass entertainment world!
