Photo By Ann Strober : ©2009 NCL Magazine : Afternoon thunderstorms off in the distance near Nellysford, Virginia
Nelson County, Virginia
After some pretty potent thunderstorms with impressive downpours Wednesday evening, the next couple of days look pretty good with minimal chances for thunderstorms late in the day. By the 4th of July Saturday, chances for widely scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms are in the forecast, but most areas will remain dry.
Temperatures over the upcoming holiday weekend will generally be in the mid to upper 80’s valley with temps around the 80 degree mark on the mountains. Each afternoon has roughly a 30% chance for a scattered afternoon storm, but overall the weekend looks very nice!
Complete details over in Tommy’s Audio Weather along with another really neat weather photo from Roseland!
