According to Wintergreen Resort’s website, the slopes on the mountain will open for skiing Saturday & Sunday of this weekend.

According to Wintergreen:

They have pumped about 12 million gallons of water through our snow guns; Dobie and The Plunge look great! The Plunge will open for tubing Saturday and Sunday with sessions from 10am until 6pm. Tickets for tubing are available for purchase over the web right now. Click here If you have trouble buying over the web, call us in the Ski Services Office at(434) 325-8165. We also plan to ski and ride on Dobie this Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 4:30pm. If you want to be ready for opening day, you had better get your equipment out of the attic and tuned up! What about Eagles Swoop? More cold air arrives this Saturday, which should allow us to be sliding on it and more next weekend!
