Virginia is known for its specialty license plates, and folks who love Wintergreen may get the chance to have a Wintergreen Resort plate.

According to the resort’s website, “We need to receive 350 prepaid applicants by January 5, 2010 to have a chance at having this specialty plate created.” The site goes on to say the plate is available to anyone who loves Wintergreen. Cost to reserve is $10 (specialty plate fee), or $20 (personalized specialty plate). The cost is a prepaid amount and will be collected by the Membership Office.
