The Guidance Office will be holding a Registration Information Meeting for Parents on Wednesday, February 23rd at 6:00 pm in the Math Conference Room at Nelson County High School. This meeting is designed to help parents and students know more about the curriculum offered at NCHS and learn how students can make the most of their time during high school. Guest speaker Marc Caraway from the Blue Ridge Virtual Governor’s School will also give a brief presentation on “What the Real World Tells Us about Preparing Students for College”.

A special winter treat we will be joined by Wesley Young of Flying Fox Vineyard offering wine tasting! Sit back sipping and listening to poetry with Stone Soup’s “Of Vine & Verse”! A very informal and casual gathering of friendly folks who love poetry (or want to). Bring a favorite poem to share or just come to enjoy others’ favorites.
