After The Storm – At Wintergreen

Not everyone saw rain Thursday evening, but the people up on Wintergreen Mountain did. Briefly. But, it was an attention getter for sure. The rain was heavy along with some brief pea sized hail, vivid lightning and thunder, but the amounts weren’t very much. Our gauge over at The Wintergreen Nature Foundation showed .10″ of rain from the quick storm.
There are more chances for scattered thunderstorms right into the upcoming weekend.
Regardless, a nice break from the heat for sure!
