We all know about the rain for the past several days, no doubt! But Charlie Duncan in Stoney Creek found out how saturated the ground was thanks to an early morning storm that blew an oak tree right onto his house. Charlie tells NCL’s Mountain Photographer, Paul Purpura, that he was asleep in his house just below where it fell.

Thankfully the tree broke in half when it hit the house, sparing lots more structural damage and keeping Charlie from being injured.

One more day of possible storms on Thursday, then we have a nice Friday and a beautiful weekend in store with mostly sunny skies and temps in the 80′s!

Bet Charlie’s ready for that!

Glad you are okay Charlie.
