Remember those torrential rains last weekend? Yea, us too! But one group of people didn’t let that stop them from completing a very important cause. And our NCL East Nelson Photographer, Victoria Mininger, braved the storms too grabbing these shots from the second annual 5K Run / Walk benefiting Relay For Life. It’s one of the many events held to raise money leading up to the main RFL on May 21, 2011 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

Bib # 61 Allen Dollers - 2nd place & Bib #13 - H.T. Page 1st place

Walkers on the Course - To the right, notice the ditch running strong along the course.

Tim Collins runs the course last weekend in torrential rains.

In a pouring rain, Elizabeth Sheperd, a runner, picks up a registration packet for the relay.

Congrats and thanks to everyone that braved the bad weather to come out!

See you at the main event in May!
