Winter Hangs On In Nelson

For the second time in less than a week snow fell at Wintergreen Resort. Though spring officially started on March 20th, winter continues to hang on, especially in the higher elevations. By Wednesday night freezing rain began falling too.
Snow falls early Wednesday (3.30.11) morning outside The Copper Mine at Wintergreen Resort
Wintry like conditions will continue overnight Wednesday into Thursday, especially above 2000 feet in elevation. By the weekend and then next week we get a break with temps returning to more seasonal normals.
