Sold Out! “No more room. It was a great concert event with so many exceptional bluegrass and musical artist under one roof,” said Victoria Mininger, NCL’s East Nelson County Photographer. We first told you about the upcoming tribute to Curtis in our March 2011 issue of Nelson County Life Magazine. “There was a real hometown air about the event tonight, even from the musicians as they conversed back and forth with the crowd while they picked, played and sang. You could tell they were right at home – almost like a back porch jam session,” NCL’s Victoria Mininger noted while taking the shots.

A wonderful tribute show for a great musician and a worthy cause. So many great stories. No wonder it was sold out….Jimmy Fortune at his best. The finale with the Orange Blossom Special was awesome…that train roared right thru NCHS!
It was an honor to be part of this event. We love some Curtis Mathews!
