Still Icy In The Mountains Of Nelson

For the second day on a row, promises of abundant sunshine hadn’t materialized by mid-afternoon Wednesday. Instead, thick cloud cover continued shrouding Nelson County keeping temps in the mid 40′s in the valley and 30° at Wintergreen. Though the ice in the valley has melted, up above trees were still covered.
By late afternoon Wednesday full sunshine finally came out, but clouds increase overnight into Thursday with widespread rain by Thursday afternoon.
