For the first time ever, The Highlands, ski slope was ready to go on opening day at Wintergreen Resort. The planets lined up and conditions we perfect as the resort kicked off the 2010-2011 season. NCL’s Mountain Photographer, Paul Purpura, also a ski instructor at Wintergreen, grabbed a few shots of the Friday opening. Thanks Paul!

Conditions are as good as they can get for opening day at Wintergreen Resort. Perfect powder for as far as the eye can see.
