NCL has learned that Nelson County West District Supervisor, Tommy Bruguiere and his wife Sandy were involved in an accident Saturday night on Route 29 at the Food Lion traffic light.
As of 9:00 PM Saturday night the couple were being treated at UVa Medical Center in Charlottesville for non-life threatening injuries. Direct sources tell NCL they were returning from the state final volleyball tournament in Richmond when a car pulled in front of them at the intersection. We are told the injuries consist of leg injuries and a cut to the head, but they will be okay otherwise.
We wish Tommy & his wife a very speedy recovery!
More information as we have it.
