“Starr Hill looks forward to sharing the gift of great beer with our home town during the Top of the Hops Beer Festival. Charlottesville is such a great place to live with its natural beauty and cultural diversity. The one thing that we have been missing is a world class beer festival that we can call our own.” Mark Thompson, Master Brewer of Starr Hill Brewery

“Beer Run is incredibly proud & excited to co-sponsor the Top of the Hops beer festival in downtown Charlottesville, featuring craft beers from around the world. This is a historic time for craft beer in America, never before have there been so many breweries producing such quality and variety of craft beer. The Charlottesville area & Virginia craft beer scene are no exception, with four award-winning breweries within a stone’s throw of our fine city & more all over our state. What better way to celebrate this historic time for quality ales & lagers, than by welcoming the Top of the Hops Fest to downtown Charlottesville!” Joshua Hunt, Beer Run

**Top of the Hops Beer Festival – Charlottesville believes in responsible drinking and does not promote mass consumption. Local taxi cab companies will be made aware of the event in advance, and taxi service phone numbers will be listed prominently in the festival guide.
