As the days march toward summer more and more farm markets open up for the season. This past weekend Saunders Brothers Farm Market opened. The weather was perfect, a bit windy, but otherwise great!

One of the favorites at Saunders has to be the ice cream! People line up to get some this past Saturday.
We start this week a bit cool, even some scattered frost overnight in places. We dropped a cold night time low of 31.8° at our Devil’s Knob station. Down here in the Rockfish Valley we skirted freezing, only missed it (technically) by a tiny bit. 32.7° the overnight low here at NCL in Greenfield. But we will warm up with showers by Tuesday afternoon and even thunderstorms by Wednesday with temps nearing 80°

The farm market opens in May and continues operating until the end of the fruit growing season in the late fall.
