One Victim In BRP Shooting Dies : 4.10.10

As we first told readers Friday afternoon via our Facebook page and via Twitter, WNRN Radio DJ, Tim Davis passed away Friday afternoon after being shot on the Blue Ridge Parkway this past Monday evening. Police say Ralph Leon Jackson is responsible and previous charges of attempted murder will be upgraded to murder. Christina Floyd, 18, was with Davis at the time of the shooting. She was also hit, but survived her injuries and was released from the hospital on Friday.

Since I have many ties to the area, I’ve been following this story via the Waynesboro and Charlottesville papers’ web sites. This is beyond sad–has the entire world gone mad?
Such a tragedy!!! We can’t even enjoy the beauty of nature without worrying about some idiot taking his frustrations out on others. All the more reason to stay alert and armed!
