The threat for wintry weather is slowly diminishing this Sunday morning in Nelson County, By 7AM temps in the valley were just above freezing and on the the mountain at Devils Knob our station there was reporting a temp of 35° near 40° at 10:30 AM.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 11AM HAS EXPIRED Sunday morning, but with temps on the rise, all of the wintry precipitation will begin changing to plain rain as the morning wears on. There still may be some patchy icing conditions until temps warm well above freezing.
The afternoon looks rainy with temps rising into the lower 40′s in the valley and around 40° mountains.
