Friday night Jan Smith played her tunes live at The Java Depot in Roseland (really closer to Beech Grove if you know the area). Jan is originally from the Louisville area. Over the past several years she’s been bringing her sounds to folks all up and down the East Coast and thankfully, right here in Nelson!
“Jan Smith’s deceptively simple tunes sparkle with freshness and originality,” said Performing Songwriter magazine.
Jan is just one of many artists that play at The Java Depot on Friday nights.
Most people think of Java Depot only for breakfast and lunch, but on Friday’s they open for a light dinner, and live music.
