Present: Mr. Allen Hale, Ms. Connie Brennan, Mr. Tommy Bruguiere, Mr. Tommy
Harvey and Mr. Joe Dan Johnson
FY09-10 BUDGET AMENDMENT – Supervisors voted 5-0 to adopt a resolution
approving a budget amendment dealing primarily with school funds. The funds
included $554,048.34 in federal and federal stimulus funds offset by a
reduction in state funds of $309,519.00 resulting in a net transfer of
$234,529.34.
DISPOSITION OF COUNTY PROPERTY/FORMER ROCKFISH VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL –
tabled for further consideration of details.
SOLID WASTE COLLECTION SYSTEM/BLACKROCK COMPACTOR – tabled for further
consideration.
CLOSED SESSION – Supervisors met in closed session to consult with legal
counsel on possible litigation.
