The Lovingston Farm Market (LFM) has been going on all summer long, but yesterday was a special Mildly Wild Wednesday edition of the market. In addition to all the great locally produced fruits, vegetables, and crafts at the LFM, there was a mid-week festival/community get-together that included:
* A wine tasting compliments of Veritas Vineyard
*Gold Leaf Lager Beer compliments of Devils Backbone Brewing Company
*Four types of barbecue, (including goat) raised on Black Eagle Farm and prepared by the Colleen Deli
*Music featuring Nelson’s own Byron Massie
Heidi Crandall of Devils Backbone Brewing Company talks about one of their award winning beers with folks dropping by.
Veritas Winery & Vineyard was also on hand with some of their latest wines.
Most of the local farm markets in Nelson continue into the final weeks of October.
