Corvettes Make Stop In Nelson : 10.4.09

Your eyes weren’t playing tricks on you Sunday afternoon. About a dozen Corvettes pulled into Devils Backbone Sunday afternoon. These were some cool cars. Just a week or so ago about 40 Porsche’s made a stop as well.
The dozen or so were part of The Beachcombers Corvette Club of Richmond which was founded back in 1982.
A nice day for some very cool cars!

These Corvette’s were from the Beachcombers Corvette Club of Virginia Beach. They had been down in Bedford County at Smith Mountain Lake attending the Vette’s on The Point All Corvette Show. This show was held by the Virginia Corvette Club as a fund raiser for Bedford Hospice House.
The 2010 Vette’s on The Point will be held again from October 1 – 3, 2010. We are expecting 200+ Corvette’s this year. Hope to see everyone on October 2nd when we hold this fabulous fund raising event again!
