The past 48 hours have been cool with scattered showers across the area. Today look for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers across the area. It will be fairly cool, but a warming trend is on the way for the weekend. Fall officially starts in a dozen days on the 22nd of September, but look for a few more days of Summer before we hit the real start of Fall.
The weekend looks warmer and dry for most of Central Virginia with afternoon highs in the lower 80′s.
