Nelson County celebrates Independence Day
Parade goers and floats marched down Front Street in Lovingston for the Nelson County 4th of July Parade. This year’s theme was The Declaration of Independence with Nelson County Emergency Services Coordinator Ray Uttaro serving as the Grand Marshall.

Working hard behind the scenes, the Wintergreen Fire & Rescue Department took a moment to pat the back of one of its own, dedicating Station 1 to longtime member Dobie Fish.
