Veritas Vineyard & Winery’s start to the 2009 Starry Nights was a bit of a soggy one for the first part of the evening, but folks took it in stride and took it inside until the showers passed. After roughly 30 minutes the rains ended leaving a wonderful evening of wine and music by King Cadillac.
Huge thunderstorms moved out of the Afton area around dark, just in time for the music to kick off at this year's Starry Nights.
The rain stopped and folks who briefly went inside were back out enjoying the first Starry Nights of 2009!
Folks enjoy a picnic style dinner on the ground of Veritas this past weekend.
King Cadillac played to the crowd well into the night.

It was a perfect evening for wine and a walk at Starry Nights.

Starry Nights continues each month through the summer until mid September.
The next Starry Nights is Saturday, July 11th, 2009, 7-11 p.m featuring Abbey Road, Beatles Cover Band.
