This weekend the skies over the Rockfish Valley will transform into a colorful display of kites starting at 10:00 AM. The event kicks off at Spruce Creek Park just south of Nellysford, Virginia off of Route 151 in the big field on Glenthorne Loop. It’s free and open to the public!
At noon a 1200 square foot flag will be unfurled with children from the audience playing the Star Spangled Banner. Other activities include stunt kites, kite instruction, kites for sale and more!
Bring a picnic for a family fun day!
