Bluegrass Jamboree Benefits NCHS Governors Band Trip To Florida

An all star line up performed Saturday afternoon into the night at The Nelson County High School Auditorium. The Bluegrass Jamboree is just one of several fund raising events over the past several months to help get the Marching Govs Band to Florida later this year. Our Diana Garland grabbed these shots of the jamboree! Thanks Diana!
Students show off a Polaris Trail Boss 4 wheeler that is being raffled off between now and April 3rd to help raise even more money.
In addition to selling tickets to the jamboree, a raffle for tickets to win the 2009 Polaris 330 Trail Boss 2 X 4 shown above is underway. The drawing is April 3rd and the tickets cost $10.00 each. You don’t even have to be present to win! Though you have to be 16 or older to buy a ticket. Only 1000 tickets are being sold. For more info on the tickets, you can call Allen Taylor @ 434.826.9637
