Some of my best memories from my many years in Scouting, both as a boy and as an adult leader, come from the job-shadowing and career exploration which came as a result of earning Merit Badges. More of us should support Scouting in Nelson. I feel I have a responsibility to give back to the many who helped me to my Eagle (1963). Our son, Kevin, feels the same way in his community in Asheville, NC. He is an Eagle, as well (1997).
