PEOPLE LIKE EARL HAMNER,JOHN WAYNE,RONALD REAGAN,WILL GEER,WILLIE MAYS&MANY OTHERS…AND I HOPE THEY ALL KNEW CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOR,SO I CAN MEET THEM IN HEAVEN&TALK&HEAR THEIR VOICE&SEE THEM&TOUCH THEM &KNOW THEM!.MR.HAMNER WILL BE THERE!I’M NOT ANYONES JUDGE,JUST CAN TELL BY HIS WORDS OF HIS LOVE FOR GOD &PEOPLE IN HIS STORIES &IN HIS HEART.HEAVEN’S FOREVER&I’LL BET THE WALTON’S WILL BE AIRING THERE TOO! OF COURSE THE PERSON I MOST LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING &TOUCHING IS “THE KING OF KINGS” HIMSELF…JESUS,,,THE LORD OF ALL!…I’LL BET HE CAN TELL STORIES EVEN BETTER THAN MR.HAMNER..LOL..GODS LOVE ALWAYS…TIM

Hi Lee, Yes, Earl Hamner is very much alive! We speak with him at least once a month by phone generally. He was most recently here in his home county, Nelson, Virginia, earlier in November. Earl lives in Studio City, CA these days, and though 86 years old, still travels and does occasional book signings. Today more than ever we need the simplicity that the waltons offer. Our times are harder than ever and our kids are given everything they want and more. We need to be reminded that we need our families. We need our homes,food ,clothing and all the other stuff is just extra and really needless. The waltons remind me that we need to appreciate what we have and tey to just enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer.

I GREW UP WATCHING THE WALTONS, AND IT IS BY FAR, MY MOST FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME!!! I AM 43 YEARS OLD, AND EVERY TIME I SEE THE WALTONS ON TV, RIGHT THEN AND THERE, I GO BACK TO A CHILD OF ABOUT 8-10 YEARS OLD, AND RELIVE IT ALL. MY FAMILY ALWAYS WATCHED THIS EACH AND EVERY WEEK (THURSDAY NIGHTS, I BELIEVE) TOGETHER. THIS WAS DEFINITELY A FAMILY NIGHT FOR US ALL, NO MATTER WHAT. THE WALTONS CAME FIRST. I LOVE THE WALTONS!!! THANK YOU EARL HAMNER FOR THE BEST SERIES TO EVER GRACE OUR TELEVISIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
