Not only did he take the kids to a motel for the night, but appeared the next morning to cook for us -- banana walnut waffles.* I was duly impressed, so I'm not surprised that he has more great ideas up his sleeve and the determination and enthusiasm to follow them through. Sparkplug's a good description. *Cleaned the kitchen, too, of course.
